The EGS Policy Center provides a centralized repository for all of your governance and compliance documents. It is a feature-rich solution that allows you to manage your documents with complete confidence, providing:

In addition, the Policy Center provides policy owners a powerful mechanism to distribute new policies for review and approval. An essential component of compliance, the policy review feature allows you to:

• Designate the review group, indicating who must approve and allowing other users to make comments.
• Distribute policy to reviewers, notifying them of their responsibility.
• Via the Employee Resource Center portal, the reviewers can view the policy, make comments and approve it.
• Policy owners can track progress, read reviewers' comments and make changes to the policy if needed...all without leaving the Policy Center.

 

Beyond the basic document repository capabilities, EGS Policy Center has added some key capabilities that take it into the next generation of compliance solutions.

Through the use of our unique tagging system, policies can be turned into structured objects. Although they continue to maintain their traditional content and formatting, the tagging allows the policy to become a foundation for all of the other components in the platform.

Policies can be mapped to regulations, standards or other requirements, providing context and allowing users to easily identify gaps and overlaps.

Other components of the platform, such as activities, rules, and incidents can be mapped back to policies, providing additional context.

In addition to policies and other corporate documents, Policy Center also serves as a repository for external requirements, such as regulations, standards and industry best practices.
