An effective policy awareness program is a critical component of achieving compliance. In addition to the obvious importance of educating employees on relevant policies and procedures, having a provable awareness program is extremely important to regulators and can have a significant impact on penalties should an issue occur.

The goal of this module is to:

• Deliver an company-wide view of the status of an organization's Awareness program.
• Enable managers to prove an employee's attestation to a policy.
• Provide tools to identify policies and employees that need help in completing the policy acceptance process.

Utilizing the Awareness Manager module, policy owners can ensure that personnel are aware of relevant policies. Capabilities include:

• Assign each policy to the users who are responsible for knowing and following it.
• Notify users of the policies that have been assigned to them.
• Allow users to view and accept policies, acknowledging they have read and understand them.
• Optionally create quizzes for each policy to test users' comprehension of policies.
• Automatically send reminders to users who have not responded, and alert managers when necessary.

In addition to providing a powerful and easy to use tool to educate users on policy requirements, EGS Awareness Manager also allows compliance managers to prove they have an effective awareness program in place. Automatic alerts, reports and dashboards give compliance managers the information they need to manage their awareness program, address issues and prove compliance.
