Kim M. Nelson, President and Chief Executive Officer
Kim brings to Polivec a distinguished career of over 25 years in the enterprise software industry. He brings to Polivec a deep understanding of operations management, market development, and sales execution. Prior to joining Polivec, Kim was Executive Vice President at Pacific Edge Software. Kim also served as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Primus Knowledge Solutions guiding the company to a successful IPO in 1999. In addition, Kim has held various executive positions at Oracle, including Vice President of Business Online, Vice President of Field Operations, and Area Vice President of Sales. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado.
Thomas Grubb, Vice President of Marketing
Tom has over fifteen years experience in marketing and sales in the technology industry. Formerly, he was VP of Marketing at Vormetric, a leader in enterprise data security software. Prior to Vormetric, Tom held senior marketing positions at Intuit, Embarcadero Technologies, and co-founded Bluecurve, a developer of systems management software that was subsequently acquired by Red Hat. Tom holds a B.S. in Business from Eastern Illinois University.
Carl Kennedy, Controller and Finance Manager
Carl is responsible for the accounting, HR and administrative functions within Polivec. He has over thirty years experience as a chief financial officer in manufacturing, distribution, software, biomedical, and consumer organizations, with both US and international operations. Carl also has prior experience as sponsor and lead auditor in ISO 9001 certification process. Prior to joining Polivec he worked for H&R Block; Marc Analysis Research Corp, a division of MSC Corporation, Webscope, Focus Semiconductor and Forte Data as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Arizona.
Peter Liske, Product Management Lead
Peter brings 18 years of technical and product management experience to Polivec. Prior to joining Polivec, Peter directed product management for Vormetric including product management for strategic OEM relationships with large technology vendors. Peter has also held sales engineering and technical business development positions at Callidus Software, webMethods, and product management roles at Oracle. Peter holds a B. S. degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.
