Kim M. Nelson, President and Chief Executive Officer
Kim brings to Polivec a distinguished career of over 25 years in the enterprise software industry. He brings to Polivec a deep understanding of operations management, market development, and sales execution. Prior to joining Polivec, Kim was Executive Vice President at Pacific Edge Software. Kim also served as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Primus Knowledge Solutions guiding the company to a successful IPO in 1999. In addition, Kim has held various executive positions at Oracle, including Vice President of Business Online, Vice President of Field Operations, and Area Vice President of Sales. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado.
Carl Kennedy, Finance and Human Resources
Carl is responsible for the accounting, HR and administrative functions within Polivec. He has over 30 years of experience as a chief financial officer in manufacturing, distribution, software, biomedical, and consumer organizations, with both US and international operations. Carl also has prior experience as sponsor and lead auditor in ISO 9001 certification process. Prior to joining Polivec he worked for H&R Block; Marc Analysis Research Corp, a division of MSC Corporation, Webscope, Focus Semiconductor and Forte Data as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Arizona.
Karissa Brown, Marketing and Sales Operations
Karissa brings a broad range of technology and consumer marketing and sales experience to Polivec. Her 14 years of experience includes work with companies such as Oracle, Logitech, Hitachi, IDG, MTV Networks, and Nortel. Prior to joining Polivec, Karissa directed marketing and channel development efforts for Vormetric, Inc. Karissa has also held marketing and advertising roles at Finisar Corporation, Sic 'Em Advertising and Bernard Hodes Group. Karissa holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Delaware.
Guna Sankar, Engineering
Guna brings over 15 years of experience in architecting and building software, client server and system applications. He has extensive experience working with both Fortune 500 and startup companies and a strong history of working closely with customers and prospects to deliver on expectations and market requirements. Prior to joining Polivec Guna spent over 6 years as Chief Technology Architect at Zoniac, Inc. Prior to Zoniac, Guna worked as a consultant with companies such as First Union National Bank, Sun Microsystems, Clarify Inc., and Informix Software. Guna holds a BS in Electronics and Telecommunication from Madurai Kamaraj University as well as a BE in Electronics and Telecommunication from Thiagarajar College of Engineering.
